Round Table “Operation of the Centers for Psychological Resilience and Well-Being” (November 13, 2025)
The online round table within the I International Scientific and Practical Conference “PSYCHOLOGY, PHYSICAL CULTURE, SPORTS AND COMPREHENSIVE REHABILITATION: A MULTIDISCIPLINARY APPROACH IN THE CONTEXT OF SOCIAL TRANSFORMATIONS” was successfully held!
On November 13, 2025, an international online round table took place on the ZOOM platform, organized by Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Melitopol State Pedagogical University within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA2 project BURN (Boosting University Psychological Resilience and Wellbeing in (Post–)War Ukrainian Nation).
The event brought together representatives of Ukrainian universities, mental health experts, researchers, and practitioners to discuss:
- the implementation and outcomes of University Psychological Resilience and Wellbeing Centers in Ukraine and EU institutions;
- the development of trauma-sensitive and mindfulness-based programs;
- innovative approaches combining psychological support, interdisciplinary rehabilitation tools, sensory relief technologies, and art therapy;
- the challenges and achievements of Centers working under relocation conditions;
- the integration of education, research, volunteer activities, and community engagement during wartime.
Speakers from Ternopil, Kryvyi Rih, Odesa, Kherson, Dnipro, Melitopol, and partner EU universities presented practical cases of supporting students, academic staff, and older adults, as well as findings from research initiatives conducted within the BURN project.
The event concluded with a productive Q&A session, demonstrating strong interest in further collaboration and development of the Centers network. We sincerely thank all participants for their engagement and contribution to strengthening psychological resilience within the Ukrainian academic community.
