Steering Committee Meeting (December 22, 2025)
The Project Steering Committee meeting of the Erasmus+ project “Boosting University Psychological Resilience and Wellbeing in (Post-)War Ukrainian Nation” (BURN) was successfully held online in 22 of December 2025, bringing together representatives of partner universities from Ukraine and the EU. The meeting served as a key coordination milestone to review progress achieved in 2025 and to align strategic priorities for the upcoming year.
During the session, partners discussed the overall implementation status of the project and reviewed internal reporting for 2025. Particular attention was paid to project management and coordination, jointly presented by Ternopil Volodymyr Hnatiuk National Pedagogical University and the University of Tartu, including preliminary discussions on key implementation dates for 2026.
Substantive progress was reported within the work package on the professionalization of crisis psychology at universities. Partners from the University of Latvia and Ukrainian institutions shared updates on course piloting activities aimed at strengthening trauma-informed and crisis-responsive competencies among university staff.
Significant developments were also presented under the work package dedicated to the establishment of Centers for Psychological Resilience and Wellbeing. Updates covered the advancement of training program development and the ongoing activities of the Centers, coordinated by the International Psychoanalytic University Berlin in close cooperation with Ukrainian partners.
In addition, partners reviewed dissemination activities for 2025 and outlined a dissemination plan for 2026, as well as quality assurance reports and forthcoming quality management steps.
The meeting concluded with a consolidated summary and reaffirmed the consortium’s shared commitment to supporting psychological resilience and wellbeing in Ukrainian higher education institutions under conditions of war and post-war recovery.
